| Hynix has started mass production of the industry¡¯s highest density 64Gb NAND Flash using 26nm process in order to fully satisfy customers¡¯ demand.Hynix developed this cutting edge process technology last February. Hynix¡¯s 26nm 64Gb chip doubles the density in a package compared to current generation products. This high density product will enable designers to offer new user applications for Smartphones, Superphones and other mobile platforms requiring high density non-volatile storage. The 64Gb NAND Flash will be offered as Raw NAND without a controller or Managed NAND with a controller.The controller performs memory management and error control functions. Besides Smartphones, the 64Gb NAND Flash will find use in mobile applications such as Tablet PCs, eBooks and Smart Pads. |
